Here, we can pause, become more aware of our own relationship with nature, and explore what it means to live in a time of profound change. We want to create a space for both grief and joy, anxiety and hope, love for nature and frustration about what is happening to it.
Sustaining long-term engagement with climate and nature issues can be challenging. Our hope is that Nature Conversations can become a place where you can find the strength to stay engaged. Together, we will explore how we can support, strengthen, and inspire one another.
About Nature Conversations
The discussion group meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00–5:30 p.m (starting in October) at the Green Office, Kristian Ottosens Hus. Each session has its own theme and consists of a check-in, a brief informational presentation, a group discussion, and a concluding reflection exercise. You can attend all the sessions or come to individual events.
The discussions are led by Birgitte Fredriksen (Student Humanist in Oslo) and Anne Anita in collaboration with student staff at Grønt Kontor UiO on the Blindern Campus. Participation is free, and we serve soup😊
