Morning meditation with Koshin Cain, Osho

Join us when the Buddhist chaplain leads the morning meditation at UiO. This week, Koshin Cain from the Rinzai Zen Center will give a Dharma talk.

Two photos of two Buddhists in Rinzai Zen robes. One Buddhist is sitting in the lotus position.

The Dharma talk starts after the first meditation session, which lasts for 25 minutes. The meditation follows a formal format, while the talk is more informal and lasts for approximately 30 minutes.

Koshin Cain is a teacher (osho) at the Rinzai Zen Center in Oslo. He was ordained in 1991, received the teacher title in 1999, and has been teaching at the center since 2009.

We ask everyone to be punctual and be prepared to sit with us. You don't have to be a Buddhist to participate, but you should be able to sit still during the meditation.

The morning meditation is free!
